Teleflora's Super Bowl 2010 commercial premieres on CBS during Super Bowl XLIV on Sunday, February 7, 2010 - one week before Valentine's Day.
As with all of our talking flowers spots, the Super Bowl commercial highlights the difference between receiving a beautiful hand-arranged, hand-delivered Teleflora bouquet, versus flowers packed and shipped carelessly in a box.
Our ad takes place in an office a few days before Valentine's Day. An unsuspecting female employee receives a box of flowers. At first, she seems elated. Then she opens the box. The flowers are wilted and dying. To make matters worse, one of the flowers - voiced by Rickles - begins hurling scandalous insults at her.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the office, another female employee receives a Red Hot Bouquet from Teleflora's Valentine's Day flowers collection. Like all Teleflora bouquets, it's hand-arranged, hand-delivered in a keepsake vase - never in a box - emphasizing the Teleflora difference.
Teleflora's in-house ad agency, Fire Station, is behind the concept and creation of our hilarious Super Bowl commercials. This spot was produced by Go Film and directed by Tim Hamilton.
