Passover 2010 begins at sundown on March 29. The seder table is central to the celebration of Passover and a beautiful meal should be complemented by a beautiful table, completed with a lovely centerpiece of flowers or two.
On epicurious, there's a slideshow of a beautiful Passover tablescape that makes for great inspiration. epicurious features bouquest of ranunculus on their seder table and the blooms of orchids floating in fingerbowls for added interest.

Kosher.com suggests using topiaries as centerpieces on the seder table because they allow for a less obstructed view than a fuller bouquet might present. Teleflora's Lily Topiary fulfills this suggestion beautifully, with a wonderful lily bloom that rises high to leave a nice visibility toward the middle and bottom of the presentation. Choosing a color scheme that's simple, such as two complementary colors like yellow (from the Lily Topiary) and green, makes it easy to have a beautiful coordinating tablescape.
If you are invited as a guest to a Passover seder celebration, bringing a hostess gift of a bouquet of flowers is a wonderful idea!
"If you want to bring a gift but want to avoid the quest for kosher-for-Passover food, consider bringing flowers or a book of Jewish interest instead, says Stuart Matlins, co-author of "How to Be a Perfect Stranger: The Essential Religious Etiquette Handbook." - (Thanks to the Today Show for this quote!)
In order to ensure that the gift follows Passover rules, make sure that the bouquet is fully watered before you arrive to the host's home, so that the host or hostess does not have to break kosher rule by working to add water themselves.
